Station Name: Station was named because of the little or no wind at the station.

Windless Bight AWS - Station and repair histories:

5 November 2006 - Site visited. Tower raised.

23 January 2006 - Site visited. ADG was raised to .86 m above surface. Station was not raised. Electronics box is .79 m above surface. Top of boom is 1.83 m above surface.

5 February 2005 - Site visited. Boom was only .23 m above surface, and was raised to 2.57 m above the surface. The solar panel was half buried, and the electronics enclosure was located .56 m below the surface. The weight of the snow had also pulled out the cable. The station was raised. An acoustic depth gauge was also installed at 1.19 m above the surface.
