What's new with the Automatic Weather Station Project?

New AWS Map! - View a current map depicting the locations of the Automatic Weather Stations that are currently operating around Antarctica.

New AWS sites! - New sites include: Kominko-Slade (2006), Mt. Fleming (2006), Mulock (2006), and Lorne (2007).

Antarctic Composites - Imagery from satellites GOES-10 and Kaplana-1 have been included in the production of the Antarctic Composites.
Photo Gallery - Pictures from the 2007-08 field season will be available soon.
Meeting - Madison, WI will be the location of the 3rd Antarctic Meteorological Observations, Modeling, & Forecasting Workshop from June 9 - 12, 2008. The website devoted to the meeting can be found here.
