Surface Observations

Map of Surface Observations

Below is a list of various surface observations from around the Antarctic and neighboring regions using data from Manned Station (Synoptic reports), some Automatic Weather Stations (AWS), Ship, and Buoy observations. The observations are updated every three hours.

As an important note, in these meteorograms, the pressure reported is not altimeter setting, as the labeling may suggest, however it is actually mean sea level pressure.
